Reiki made Simple: First Degree Reiki

Anyone with a sincere desire and commitment to physical, mental, spiritual and emotional health can learn Reiki. It is simple, practical, and virtually anyone regardless of background can successfully become Reiki "attuned." Once initiated, Reiki will be with you forever.

Reiki is an ancient form of "hands on" healing which treats mind, body and spirit. It can be used to treat others as well as yourself. The technique is passed on from teacher to student through storytelling and initiation. Many people find initiation into Reiki a powerful experience, which transforms their life.

The workshops are over two days at a price of $150.00.

Why four attunements?

The first attunement opens the heart Chakra of the student making him/her more aware of the connections to everyone and everything around them. You may feel a new sense of compassion and understanding.

The second attunement opens the throat Chakra. You may develop itchy, sore throat, or feel tightness in the area after the second attunement, however the end result may be a possible clearing of communication or career issues.

The third attunement opens the third eye (ajna) or brow Chakra. You may feel heightened intuition or a developing trust in the awareness or pull leading us in a certain direction, which we all feel at times.

The fourth attunement opens the crown Chakra. This final attunement seals open the channel, which allows you to receive the frequency of energy known as Reiki. This is our connection with the spiritual realm, with the universal truth.
